Casa Balestra gode di un'ottima posizione in Assisi ed è comoda per raggiungere tutti i principali siti. E' situata in un palazzo storico ed è arredata con cura: soluzione consigliatissima!
L'appartamento non ha l'aria condizionata e abbiamo dormito con le finestre aperte. Purtroppo la piazza su cui si affaccia è rumorosa alla sera per i locali e alla mattina per i mezzi della netezza urbana.

Esperienza “rovente”
La struttura era molto pulita, bagni molto comodi e l’appartamento era ben arredato. La posizione è centralissima a tutti i luoghi d’interesse
Purtroppo l’appartamento è al secondo piano di un palazzo storico, situato al centro del paese, con divieto di transito per quasi tutto il giorno, eccezione per le primissime ore della mattina e la sera dopo le 18. Circondato da locali rumorosi. Mancanza di aria condizionata che ci ha costretti a partire con un giorno di anticipo. Disponibili ventilatori non poco rumorosi. Impossibile parcheggiare se non in parcheggi a pagamento non comodissimi da raggiungere specie se si hanno bagagli.

Fantastic location right in the historical centre. Responsive and helpful host. Food shops close by.
Minor quibbles - the induction hob was temperamental and slow with some of the cookware - especially the espresso maker. A small nespresso machine would make a big difference to the convenience factor. That said lots of places nearby available for fresh coffee! The only other point to be aware of was the late night and early morning noise from the main square (audible in main bedroom). The music was often charming and fun to listen to - but not when we needed to get up early.

It was great and comfortable.
It was well furnished and exceptionally clean. Lovely decor and comfortable beds.
So many stairs. It had 3 flights up after reaching the 2 outside stone stairs flights.
