  Dreadful and this property DOES NOT match its reviews...BEWARE!

  The only view was from either of the two bedrooms. No view from the lounge or kitchen!

  The property did not match the reviews or what was sold to us! The info sheet clearly states, this property is not wheelchair accessible! Nothing was said about the 162 steep steps down or 162 steep steps up to this property, which for the older persons or children or people with health conditions can be a definite struggle! The air conditioning units, switched off, when we boiled a kettle or used a kitchen appliance! Our bedroom AC unit leaked water over the floor ( this was supposedly fixed after we left). The welcome package consisted of a dish of a few sweets and 4 vacuum packed croissants, which did not look appetizing! No essential basics! No information booklet or sheet about the property or the area we were staying! Parking was difficult, as we had clear instructions to notify the property if this was required (which we did prior), Parking was up a steep hill and after returning from buying basic essentials we found our space had been taken and then had to park further up the hill, which is also quite a climb. After 1 night we decided to find alternative accommodation elsewhere! All in all, I feel we have been scammed!

  Beautiful apartment and views, but a challenging location Our communication with Pina was very good, and everything went smoothly with her. The apartment itself was pleasant and comfortable, and the view was beautiful. These positive aspects are why we are giving the accommodation 9/10. However, the location was much more challenging for us than we expected. If you arrive without a car or scooter, you are quite far from everything. Carrying luggage in +34°C heat was extremely challenging because of the steep roads and terrain. Without your own transport, you are largely dependent on taxis. We were looking for an easy and comfortable base from which to experience the local culture and explore Ravello and the surrounding area. Unfortunately, this accommodation did not provide that kind of convenience. We were very fortunate to find Luca, a local taxi owner, whom we hired for two full days. Thanks to him, we were able to visit Ravello, attend a festival concert and get safely back to the accommodation. However, be prepared that hiring a driver for full days is expensive, and communication can sometimes be difficult as not all local drivers speak English. The terrace has a beautiful view, but in the summer heat it was difficult to enjoy for any length of time because there is very little shade. There is no private shaded garden or other outdoor area where you can comfortably escape the sun. For someone who mainly wants to stay at the property, enjoy the scenery and relax, especially with their own car or scooter, this could be a lovely choice. For travellers who want to explore the area without their own transport and have easy access to restaurants, shops and sights, I would recommend staying somewhere more central. Beautiful apartment, great communication and wonderful views — but be prepared for a very challenging location, especially in the summer heat.

  Best view ever

  The views of the Amalfi coast are spectacular. It's quiet and peaceful...a nice retreat from touristy Amalfi.The place was very clean, comfortable and well stocked. The host was very attentive and helpful. .

  The only drawback is the significant number of steps that must be navigated to reach the residence. But once there...wow!! People with mobility challenges will have difficulty accessing the residence..
