  Brilliant location, very spacious, but disappointing host and cleaning services

  Excellent location, only a five-minute walk to the beach. The house was highly spacious with a fantastic swimming pool. The pool area was a real highlight and included a BBQ. It is incredibly family-friendly; the host provided a high chair and cot, and there were extra beds available.

  While the pool area was lovely, it unfortunately lost the sun in the afternoon. There were also several maintenance issues during our stay. The basement bedroom had no air conditioning (only a fan), and the A/C in one of the upstairs bedrooms was leaking; we informed the host, but the issue was completely ignored. Furthermore, the living room A/C remote was missing. The host claimed they didn't know about this and provided a universal remote that didn’t work. We had to use the kitchen remote, which would only work to turn it on and off, couldn´t adjust the temperature or fan speed. The cleanliness and amenities were also disappointing. The BBQ grates were filthy, the host provided replacements but just for the small ones. To make matters worse, the person who delivered them dismissively told us we were 'off-season' — as if that justified the poor standards, despite us paying a premium for our stay; given that it was the final weekend of August and the first few days of September, it was hardly off-season, and certainly didn't excuse the lack of basic cleanliness. Additionally, the dishwasher was missing salt and had a loose top rack, no bin bags were provided, and the bedroom pillows were old and highly uncomfortable.

  Do espaço exterior. Piscina, churrasqueira.

  Good location, but otherwise lacking unless super cheap booking

  Location is amazing, the beach is a few minutes walk away. Air conditioning worked. Parking was good. Pool was nice. Place was reasonably clean.

  It is a skeleton of a stay. The bathrooms don't even have hand soap, and had just enough toilet roll to cover us before we had to go out to do a big shop. Beds and pillows uncomfortable, and pillows weren't even on beds when we arrived we had to find them. Fridge broke first day so no cold water or ice, and a big puddle for us to clean up. We had to be around for a technician who didn't turn up. Bidet was broken. I think the other early reviews are friends/family, while this is a fair stay if you get it for a cheap price it is absolutely not it's current 8.5 rating.
