Die lage und wohnung war wunderbar

Beste Wohnung in der Innenstadt!
Die beste Wohnung, die wir je in einer Innenstadt gebucht haben! Wunderschön renovierte, sehr gut ausgestattete Wohnung auf den zwei obersten Etagen, zu denen man über eine breite, aber steile (!) Treppe gelangt. Es ist ein historisches Haus mit viel Charme und mit originellen Schnitt. Wer hat schon eine Kuppel im Wohnzimmer! Die Schlafzimmer liegen ein Stockwerk tiefer, hübsch eingerichtet, ebenso wie das Badezimmer, das mit historischen Fliesen ausgestattet ist. Mit 2 bis 4 Leuten kann man hier sehr gut wohnen ohne sich auf die Füße zu treten. Obwohl die Wohnung mitten in der Innenstadt nahe eines belebten Platzes liegt, kann man nachts recht ruhig schlafen. Vom Haus aus ist man in wenigen Minuten wirklich überall in der Innenstadt. Wir haben das Auto zwei Tage im Parkhaus gelassen. Mit einer Karte, die vom Vermieter gestellt wird, kann man sein Auto dort kostenlos unterstellen. Dank Zahlencode kommt man ins Haus, ohne auf eine Schlüsselübergabe warten zu müssen. Zur Anreise mit Auto hier ein Tipp: Am Largo do Toural, eine Minute vom Haus entfernt, gibt es eine Ladezone vor den Läden, wo man sein Gepäck aus- und wieder einladen kann. Schnell die Parkkarte aus der Wohnung holen, liegt direkt am Eingang, und dann das Auto in die Tiefgarage fahren, die über den Platz etwa drei Minuten zu Fuß entfernt ist. Google maps führt einem mit dem Auto in die autofreie Zone, wenn man die Adresse eingibt. Deshalb besser den Largo oder die Farmacia dort eingeben, das ist wesentlich stressfreier!
Uns hat alles gut gefallen! Wer Treppen gehen kann und auf gut renovierte, historische Bausubstanz steht, wird diese Wohnung lieben!

Gorgeous stay in Guimaraes.
The apartment is absolutely gorgeous, well designed and very comfortable. Location could not be better. It is well equipped for cooking, etc.
We were surprised by the number of stairs, which total 50 from street to upper floor; which consisted of kitchen, living room, dining room, GUEST bath----no shower or tub, so do take note of that. There's only one bathing area. With four adults, that was sometimes tricky. The place was so lovely, we overlooked that.
