The PERFECT stay in Sintra and the bar by which we rated all hotels we've stayed at in Portugal
Villa Estefanea is the kind of place that makes you feel like you’ve stepped into another world. From the moment we arrived, everything felt effortlessly elegant. There is a refined, understated luxury to the property, beautiful surroundings, impeccable attention to detail and thoughtful touches everywhere you look. You can tell this isn’t simply a property that has been decorated; it has been lovingly curated. There is a real sense of care and personality throughout. The atmosphere reminded us of staying at a very wealthy auntie’s beautiful summer residence: sophisticated, intimate and effortlessly chic, but never pretentious. It feels luxurious without ever feeling cold or overly formal. The breakfast was exceptional, with a wonderful selection and the kind of quality you notice. We also loved the afternoon small bites, an incredibly thoughtful touch that made returning to the villa each day feel even more special. And Douglas deserves a special mention. He was exceptional. Beyond kind, genuinely warm, incredibly professional and always available when needed. His hospitality was impeccable, yet completely natural. He has a wonderful way of making you feel looked after without ever making the experience feel formal or forced. Villa Estefanea is more than somewhere to stay in Sintra. It is an experience: elegant, personal, beautifully considered and filled with those little details that stay with you long after you leave. We absolutely loved our time here and would return in a heartbeat.

The location is fabulous, the building is beautiful, the rooms exceptionally comfortable and clean. To add to this, the amenities that were included in the stay were above and beyond. I highly recommend!

Sehr empfehlenswert.
Sehr nettes Personal. Tolles Frühstück und ein sehr geräumiges, sauberes Zimmer. Tip: Parken ca. 250 m an der Unterkunft vorbei in einem rechten Seitenweg unter Bäumen.
