  We had a great stay here

  The house and the property are beautiful, peaceful and have amazing views over the valley. It had everything we needed for our stay and the pool was a great bonus. It’s also in a very good location, with an easy access, several grocery stores 10-15 mins ride away, and some of the best wineries in the area. Easy communication with the host.

  Gostámos imenso da nossa estadia nesta maravilhosa casa no Douro. A piscina é bastante grande e fantástica, a vista sobre a cidade e as vinhas é simplesmente deslumbrante e proporciona momentos únicos de tranquilidade. Além da beleza do espaço, destacamos a simpatia e a hospitalidade dos anfitriões, que nos fizeram sentir em casa desde o primeiro momento. É o local perfeito para quem procura descansar, desfrutar da natureza e aproveitar a calma e a serenidade da região. Sem dúvida, uma experiência a repetir e um lugar que recomendamos a 100%!

  Beautiful, peaceful, and memorable stay

  The Quinta was beautiful! We absolutely loved the views. The property is so peaceful. It’s amazing to be able to walk through the vineyards or just sit by the pool and enjoy the views. The host, Barbara, was so accommodating. We had the quinta’s wine tasting one evening and she brought special snacks and games for the kids, which was very thoughtful. I also had a wonderful massage right next to the pool with an actual massage table and peaceful music (the massage is coordinated through the host and paid separately). The location is very central and easy to get to Pacheca and Vallado. The beds were very comfortable and the house had the necessary supplies to cook meals at home. My kids used the tennis court and basketball hoop often. The apartment is a single level unit on the ground floor - the rest of the building in the photo is the family’s residence. They were quiet and did not interfere at all with our stay. We really loved this place and hope to return next fall!

  The pool was colder than we had hoped for. We stayed in early June.
