  Nice and cute little traditional house. Exactly like on the pictures. Ricardo was very helpful and giving a lot of information about the island in advance. You can watch the sunset everyday from your veranda and small garden and you see Sao Jorge and Graciosa too. The location is also very nice, 2h round-trip hike-close to the Farol and a small peninsula and as with everything on Terceira, you are never more than 15-30 minutes away from the majority of towns and hikes and Sightseeing spots on the island. You can also start the hike to Lagoinha from the house with only 30ish minutes on top. Note that, even though for us this was great, Serreta is a calm town even for Terceira standards. So not much infrastructure. Again we loved that but keep it in mind.

  It's all like in the pictures so it's not really something to complain but note that you will not find a huge modern kitchen or bathroom, modern appliances and so on for example. Things are, as expected, a bit older and slightly less comfortable. It's perfectly fine for the authentic style and type of the house however in our opinion! It's also directly on the main road around the island but as said above it's such a quiet area that there are hardly 20 cars a night sometimes.

  Prettig verblijf

  Het appartement is zoals op de foto te zien. Erg knus en traditioneel. De host Ricardo was extreem vriendelijk en heeft zijn uiterste best gedaan om ons verblijft zo prettig mogelijk te maken.

  De onderste slaapkamer is wat vochtig. Ricardo heeft ons later van een ontvochtiger voorzien.

  Authentic tranquil house - great location to explore the island with the stunning Atlantic view.

  We had absolute pleasure and enjoyment to stay in this romantic very peaceful very authentic Azorean remote house - the host Ricardo was looking after our comfort with great attentiveness and care. The kitchen windows overlooking ocean view made every morning and every evening unforgettable and inspiring. We will never forget this very special stay - the tranquility, authenticity and spirit of this house exceded our expectations. We also were lucky to spot two neighbouring islands on the first morning and to have stunning Sun set in the evening.

  Everything was amazing. Just bear in mind - Azores are not the hottest islands to spend your holiday, even in late Spring the temperatures are between 12 and 16 celsius, and the heaters, provided by the host, made the house warm and cosy. Thank you very much!

  Très jolie maisonnette, très bien équipée pour nos besoins. La vue sur l’océan est superbe. Notre hôte répondait très vite à nos quelques demandes.
