Good short stay in Faro
House is very well located centrally in Faro, in walking distance of restaurants, shops and the dock. Fatima is very helpful, and we were able to leave our bags early before check in.
The air-conditioning wasn't working in one of the bedrooms during our stay in very hot weather. However, Fatima was very quick to respond and get someone to look at it, and offered a solution when it couldn't be fixed.

A casa é super agradável, típica do Algarve e muito pitoresca. A casa estava impecavelmente limpa e organizada. A localização é ótima, próxima das zonas centrais de Faro, inclusivé da doca da marina de Faro.
A colchão da cama do quarto da esquerda no topo das escadas era um pouco desconfortável e como tenho alguns problemas de coluna, senti mais.

A good place to stay in Faro.
The beds were comfy. The size of the rooms were large. The washer and drying line were a lifesaver during the hot sweaty days. Great location for walking to events/tours. Good air conditioning in the bedrooms.
The shower in the upstairs bedroom was very small. Lack of air conditioning on the lower level (living room/kitchen) during a heatwave made it difficult to use all the rooms the way we would have liked.

Location is excellent. Clean & tidy. The balcony off one of the rooms is a great place to sit and relax. The host is very responsive & great to deal with.
The beds weren't very good. They are only double size so relatively small. The bed bases had exposed springs so everytime you moved they would make a noise and tend to wake you up. The mattress slumped to the middle so caused roll together. Gave this feedback to the host at the time who said they would be replaced. One of the bedrooms has an ensuite. The shower in the ensuite is very small. A slightly larger person would find it very difficult to shower in there. The main bathroom is downstairs & both bedrooms are upstairs so if you're staying in the bedroom without an ensuite and need to relieve yourself in the night, you have to walk down the stairs, which isn't ideal.
