    Beautiful house with the warmest hosts

    This is a beautifully renovated house with a lovely garden full of fruits trees. The hosts are amazing, they welcomed us very warmly and had stocked the kitchen generously with breakfast items, fruits from their garden, and amazing port wine from their family farm among many other things. They are just a message away for any question about the house or the area. The house is super clean, a great balance between a very modern renovation and many classic touches, and felt really homey. The kitchen has all the essentials to make meals and everything is high quality. Numerous supermarkets within a few minutes drive and the daily fresh bread delivery is such a unique touch and convenience. The location is about a 30 minute drive to Pinhao's touristy quintas but there are a number of quintas that are high quality and less touristy much closer to the house. We really wish we could have stayed longer

    There are just a few quirks which might not work for everyone like the steep stairs to the bedrooms and some compromises on privacy with glass doors for toilets. We didn't mind either but a consideration
