    inspected the property, turned around immediately

    Nothing

    Neighborhood looked like a slum and didn't feel safe. Front door had a lot of play, easy to open for burglars. The properly is located in a guarded compound, but that didn't take away our safety feelings. This was the one-to-one content my WhatsApp message sent to the host: I just wanted to let you know that we decided to book different accommodation because the house and the surrounding area didn't match the impression given by the photos, rating, and reviews on Booking.com. We didn't feel comfortable staying at Casa de Colores and booked something else immediately. Casa de Colores was still in the state the cleaner had left it in; we arrived a bit early and actually saw the cleaner there, so we didn't end up using the keypad code. We took only the attached pictures which is the damaged neighbors car. The missed rear window was replaced by a strange construction. Inside the campus, we could have many more of this kind of pictures from cars and houses

    The community was very safe, friendly and close to the beach.

    For older adults or small children have to drive to the beach or to Playa Del Carmen downtown.
