This is a hidden gem in Maramures. It is a family-owned and operated, working farm. The hosts treat you as family. Definitely get the meal plan because the food is locally grown, the dairy products made by the hosts, and Mariana's cooking is phenomenal.

Wow, this is the best place in Maramureş!
Wow what an amazing experience!! Mariana and Vasil are the most wonderful hosts ever. We got to pet Mimi the sheep, milk their cow, forage mushrooms with Mariana and, of course, eat the most amazing traditional cooking in the world. Was only 38 minutes to the merriest cemetery and 20 minutes to the Ukraine border. The room was so comfortable. We cant wait to return!
