    Historic building with a feeling of modern luxury

    Stunning historic building in a great location, steps from the Metro and an easy walk to many sights. I loved my room; a superior single - it was spacious and comfortable. I spent time enjoying the large comfortable reading room/library, and I appreciated the steam/sauna - even had a dip in the (chilly!) pool. The breakfast is delicious and the room where it is served quite beautiful, with towering palms and stained glass. There is art everywhere, lots to see and enjoy here. The staff were fantastic, I loved my time and would be delighted to stay again.
