So Many Ants and the Windows and Front Door Lack Privacy
The house is decent-sized with a big bathroom. There are two off-street parking spots.
The biggest issue was the drapes were all transparent (and dirty), and the front door was clear glass with no drape or anything. The bathroom was quite exposed; someone walking by on the sidewalk of the main road could have looked in over the fence and seen someone showering or using the toilet, and we'd have never known. I saw other reviews reference the poor window coverings, but we were shocked by that. There's really no room with complete privacy. A stranger came to our front door in the middle of the day. We saw the man do a circle around the house, then finally approach the front door and knock. We thought it was perhaps the owner at first. But the person had a medical file and seemed to be a patient of some kind. The owners seem to run a medical practice or something in the main house. We told the man we don't know anything about it. Once again, when the stranger approached the door, he could look right into the living room and see us. I'm sure he saw into nearly every room in the house, including the bathroom, before coming in. Another issue was there were many hundreds of ants filing into the house from four separate entrances within a few hours of us entering the house. We have been staying in similar house and apartment stays in the Noosa area for months, and we haven't seen an ant inside at any unit. We're not scared of ants or anything, but the sheer volume is extreme, and it's a bit annoying to have to constantly be on alert in the kitchen. We put all of our food in the fridge right when we entered. I worked at the desk in the living room while there, and had to wipe dozens of ants off my computer as one of their many trails ran up the wall behind the desk. While in the shower, at one point I noticed 4 ants running up my body. There seems to be an infestation that the owners must be aware of already. Luckily, we had only booked two nights so we just tolerated it and got out of there.

It was ok but expensive for the location
Beach vibe, spacious, bathroom + kitchen
Nowhere near beach, outside areas untidy
