    ​Die Lage der Unterkunft ist unglaublich zentral – es sind keine 100 Meter zum Dom und zur Piazza della Cisterna, man ist sofort mitten im Geschehen.

    ​Schwere Anreise mit Gepäck: Da das Quartier in der verkehrsberuhigten Innenstadt liegt, mussten wir unsere zahlreichen Koffer vom Parkplatz fast einen Kilometer weit tragen. Eine von Vermietern oft ermöglichte Zufahrtsgenehmigung zum Be- und Entladen wurde uns explizit verweigert. ​Schlüsselübergabe & Außenbereich: Die Schlüsselübergabe erfolgte unpersönlich über einen unverschlossenen Briefkasten. Der kleine Garten war komplett gefliest (ohne Bepflanzung) und hatte zwei Abflüsse, in denen sich Wasser staute, was sofort eine Mückenkolonie anzog. ​Ungemütliches Wohnzimmer: Das Wohnzimmer wirkte sehr leer und zusammengestucht. Es gab ein komplett durchgesessenes Uralt-Sofa, einen unpassenden Medientisch mit TV sowie zusammengewürfelte Sitzmöbel (Sessel und Hocker), die stilistisch nicht passten. Gemütlichkeit kam hier nicht auf. ​Enge und Mängel im Bad: Das Badezimmer ist ein extremer Schlauch (ca. 1 Meter breit). Man muss sich an der Toilette vorbeizwängen, um zur Dusche zu gelangen, die sich unter einer niedrigen Dachschräge befindet (selbst bei einer Größe von 1,85 m muss man sich ducken). Abstellflächen für Kosmetikartikel fehlen gänzlich. S​auberkeit: An Toilette und Dusche waren deutliche Schmutzspuren zu sehen, der Badteppich war veraltet, und Utensilien wie der Spülschwamm wurden vor unserem Einzug nicht erneuert. Im Schlafzimmer fehlte jeglicher Mückenschutz am Fenster.
