A good find in Cape Town
The location of Casa del Sonder is great, especially for exploring the colourful Bo Kaap area. It is located across the road from a police station so felt really safe. There is an honesty bar available and drinks on the roof terrace with views to Table Mountain are a must if weather permits. Our rooms were comfortable and clean. Great water pressure in the shower. Wifi was intermittent and Netflix is available in rooms. Breakfast was available for an extra charge and is served on that lovely rooftop terrace.

Great place to stay!
Close proximity to V&A and Bo Kaap where I walked to explore. Good food within 400m as well. Heated water was great and much appreciated. Also, the owners were very kind to let us into the room as it was available despite being there early

Nicht zu empfehlen
Das Zimmer hatte zu wenig Schränke und Ablageflächen. Das Bett (Bettwäsche) war schmutzig. Sodass wir um 21.30 nachdem wir ausgepackt hatten das Zimmer wechseln mussten, aber am nächsten Morgen erneut, weil andere Gäste kämen. Das Frühstück war minimalistisch mit einer Scheibe Brot und 4 anderen Zutaten die man bestellen konnte. Eine Tasse Kaffee im Preis sonst Aufpreis… Alles sehr alt ( Haus und Möbel). Nicht gepflegt und sauber. Wir haben uns nicht wohl gefühlt .

Die Einrichtung ist super geschmackvoll und gemütlich. Man fühlt sich wie zu Hause und nicht wie in einem anonymen Hotel.
