    Lovely stay

    Great location, close to old town, coast, bars and restaurants but still lovely and quiet. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. The Wisers Team were very responsive and helpful.

    It was entirely our fault for not checking our booking thoroughly, but if you are booking Amaltheia you are only getting the downstairs apartment and not the apartment with the balcony and views in the pictures. I just wanted to point this out for anyone likely to miss this.

    Our stay in Chania was awesome due in large part to the location and modern feel of the apartment.

    Great location. Walking distance to everything in Old Town. Ample outside space. The host was attentive and fast to answer questions or set up rides and events. They sent someone over to help look for a missing item and address the issue. The projector for movie night was cool. Having a washing machine was very useful and there were umbrellas available as well.

    The fridge was small but adequate. There was only a microwave, but no oven, which would have been nice to have. The small fiberglass fibers from the outdoor couches started to fray off and were embedded in the hands and arms of one of the guests almost like wood splinters. We had to pull them out one by one and eventually go look for strong duct tape to get the rest out. Time to replace the couch cushions as I am sure they get worn down quickly in that hot sun.

    The location

    We were in the downstairs apartment and we thought we had access to the upstairs terrace as the initial photos showed this. It was not clear to us at the time of booking that there were 2 apartments with different access.
