Lovely Hotel
We stayed at Hotel Casa do Bairro by Shiadu for three nights between Christmas and New Year after a friend’s recommendation — and it exceeded our expectations! The hotel is lovely and in a fantastic location, surrounded by so many bars and restaurants and only about a 25-minute walk from the shopping centre. The airport transfers they arranged for us were excellent value; the drivers were friendly and pointed out sights along the way, which made the journey enjoyable. Our room was very large, spotlessly clean, and featured an extremely comfortable bed — we slept wonderfully. Breakfast was varied and plentiful with really good coffee to start the day. The reception team were lovely and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommended — a delightful place to stay! 🤩

Pick a different hotel. They don't care about your experience at all.
We flew in from the US to Lisbon. The hotel knew we’d arrive around 10 AM and told us the room would be ready by 1 PM. Fine. We left our bags, went for brunch, came back at 1… not ready. 2 PM… still not ready. We were the only guests waiting, but they couldn’t be bothered to prioritize cleaning our room — just empty promises from a receptionist who sat there doing nothing. To top it off, they sold us an overpriced airport transfer, claiming you “can’t” get there by Uber. Absolute nonsense — Uber is three times cheaper. Yes, the room was clean and spacious, but the location is in a run-down, unpleasant part of the city. Overall? Not worth the frustration or the scam tactics.
