  Irish family stay

  We had an absolutely incredible stay at Casa do Lobo in Estoi — without question, the best villa we have ever stayed in. The pool alone deserves a special mention: it was huge, spotless, and deep enough to properly jump and dive into, which is a rare find. Easily the best pool we’ve ever had at a villa. The entire property was exceptionally well kept, immaculate, and clearly cared for with pride. There were endless spaces to relax, both indoors and outdoors, all beautifully furnished with very comfortable seating. The bedrooms and beds were outstanding — incredibly comfortable — and the balcony was a real highlight. Sitting there at night, looking out over the city lights, was simply stunning. The kitchen was extremely well equipped, making it perfect for family meals and gatherings. The gardens were beautiful, with orange trees adding to the charm and sense of calm throughout the property. The host was absolutely brilliant — attentive, welcoming, and genuinely caring, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Estoi itself is a gorgeous, traditional village with lovely little streets and a truly local feel. The villa is perfect for families or larger family gatherings, with space for everyone to relax together or enjoy quiet moments alone. Casa do Lobo is top class in every way. We cannot recommend it highly enough and would return in a heartbeat

  The Villa is spectacular, private, spacious, clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Its in a peaceful location, very close to a beautiful traditional Portuguese village, with cobbled streets, supermarkets, cafes and restaurants. The garden with it's fountain and the mountain views are breathtaking. The pool area is well equipped with sunbeds, umbrellas and other shaded seating areas, perfect for relaxing with a good book. Kal is gentleman and a very attentive host, always available to answer any questions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back in the future.

  A very enjoyable stay with a charming and helpful host.

  Loved the rural location. The villa provided plenty of space for large gatherings. The infinity pool was clean and a good size. Lots of outside shade. Outside pool shower. Spacious bedrooms with shutters. Separate A/C in each bedroom. Lovely surrounding gardens. Birds and wildlife.

  No shallow end to the pool for small children. The bed mattresses were not very comfortable. Fridge/freezer too small for large family gatherings.

  Superb

  We recently had the pleasure of staying at this luxury villa in a serene village, and it exceeded all our expectations. The villa is beautifully designed, offering a perfect blend of modern comfort and traditional charm. The quiet surroundings made it an ideal getaway for relaxation, with stunning views and peaceful ambiance. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, from the spacious and well-appointed rooms to the immaculate outdoor areas. The host Kal was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring a memorable stay.
