    Tolle traditionelle Unterkunft in sehr guter Lage

    Sehr schöner Garten mit einer sehr wohnlichen, attraktiven überdachten Veranda, gut ausgestattete Küche. Die obere Etage ist hell und lichtdurchflutet. Kommunikation mit der betreuenden Agentin, die auf uns bei der Ankunft gewartet hat war reibungslos, freundlich und charmant. Sie gab uns auch sehr umfassendes Eingangsbriefing in das Haus und die Möglichkeiten auf Sao Miguel. Das Haus war mit allem nötigen voll ausgerüstet - bis zum Verbandskasten. Es liegt 15 Gehminuten von der hübschen Altstadt entfernt und nur 5 - 10 Minuten vom Hafen, wo die Optionen für Walbeobachtung und Tauchfahrten auf uns warteten. Das Haus ist sehr typisch azorisch leicht in den Hang gebaut. Garten hat man einen Blick auf den Atlantik über die Häuserdächer hinweg.

    Eigentlich war alles toll - man kann höchstens sagen, dass das Parken eines Mietwagens ganz nah an der Hauswand in dieser engen Einbahnstraße etwas Nerven und Übung fordert. Der hohen Luftfeuchtigkeit auf Sao Miguel geschuldet, ist ein elektrischer Lufttrockner im Haus, den wir bei Abwesenheit immer haben laufen lassen und der pro Tag ca 1,5 l Wasser aus der Luft geholt hat. Das Wohnzimmer ist eher ein reines Fernsehzimmer. Man ist ja ohnehin sonst meist auf der sehr wohnlichen, überdachten Terrasse.
