The perfect family holiday home, especially if you like rural locations.
It was in a beautiful quiet location and the outdoor seating area was perfect. The mini football pitch was the icing on the cake. The pool was great and the air con was a bonus. The large fridges and freezer meant we didn't need to go to the shops daily. It was perfect for a family holiday.
Nothing major. The only thing (if finding any fault) was lack of cutlery, crockery and serving plates/bowls/dishes but I know they are sorting that. Overall it was wonderful. Just be careful with wet feet on the floor.

A most enjoyable family holiday in a superb villa in a beautiful setting.
The peacefulness, the setting, the outdoors, particularly the swimming pool and the cabana, and the quality of the indoors and facilities.

A beautiful, spacious villa with a fantastic pool and incredible outdoor space - we can’t wait to visit again!
A beautiful, spacious villa with a fantastic pool. We especially loved the outdoor space and seating areas, comfy beds (with proper duvets!), well equipped kitchen, and all the little luxury details like controllable shutters and dimmable lighting. The location is peaceful but only 5 mins drive from the local town, Alte, which has a few lovely shops, pretty river and several restaurants, including options that catered for all the family.
Nothing - we loved everything about it! A sofa bed or twin beds in one room would have given us more flexibility when visiting with our teenage children - perhaps something to consider?

Exceptional
We utterly enjoyed our stay at Casa do Pomar. Perfect location for people who are keen on privacy. All facilities are up to (or even exceeding) expectations. Kudos to Portucasa for providing extensive information prior to check-in.
