    Good 3 nights in Madalena

    The unit was clean and a good size. The balcony offered a view of the ferry terminal and zodiac excursions so some activity. The washing machine was handy. We could not always park our car out front but there was always parking in a lot close by. The unit was in a good location so that we could walk everywhere. There are 2 restaurants next door for convenience but did not create much noise. Thank you.

    The balcony, though partially covered, did not offer any protection from the rain. We were aware of no air conditioning so we did need to use the 2 fans and dehumidifier continually, one fan in the bedroom particularly.

    Fantastic stay!

    Great location and suite was well equipped. Enjoyed the deck in the evenings and very easy to walk to restaurants and grocery store.

    A well-equipped original fisherman’s cottage overlooking the harbour

    The large sheltered balcony is a window into the world of Madalena, great place to have your meals, prepared in the superbly equipped kitchen. There are facilities for washing & drying your clothes, & they dry rapidly. It is a genuine old fisherman’s cottage which retains its ambience, but with modern amenities.

    There is a dehumidifier, but the Azores can be quite humid indoors.
