    Great host and lovely apartment.

    The owner of the apartment, Fernando, was a true Portuguese gentleman. He could not have been kinder or more helpful. The apartment was immaculately clean and very well equipped. There was wine, cake, milk and fruit juice for us on arrival which was a lovely and very welcome touch. It was about a 10 minute walk to the old town of Ponte de Lima and its restaurants and cafes. We would certainly stay here again.

    At first we found the beds a bit hard and for me, uncomfortable, but then we discovered a mattress topper in the apartment which solved the problem. Great that someone thought of supplying this. We had unforeseen problems with the WiFi which didn't connect to the internet during our stay there, but we know it was a one-off problem which will soon be fixed. Though Fernando was great, the bookings manager Marta didn't communicate well. We sent two messages on the two days before we arrived but received no answer which didn't inspire us with confidence. But for all that we had a lovely few days here and would recommend it.

    A nice owner, Fernando. Place cold but good heater in the living room. Used the baby pad from IKEA to pad the hard bed and used the quilt for warmth. Small couch in living room and used a baby blanket for warmth. Well equipped kitchen. Huge garden with fruit trees. He provided us with a bottle of wine, apples, oranges and cake. Nice. Good private parking.
