The villa was clean and the outdoor area and pool were nice. The property had a good view.
The biggest issue was the lack of air conditioning. Instead, there were only fans, which were absolutely not sufficient for the temperatures of 35–40°C in Spain. The heat made us feel very uncomfortable, and sleeping was extremely difficult. We were sweating throughout the night and could not get proper rest. The beds were also very small for two people, and it was very uncomfortable for two adults to sleep in the same bed. The location was another major disadvantage. The road leading to the villa was very steep, mountainous and unpaved. It was extremely difficult to drive up, and with a less powerful car it could be almost impossible. The villa was also quite far from Málaga, which made getting around inconvenient. Communication with the owner was also difficult because he did not speak English. When one of the fans stopped working, it was difficult to explain the problem. Although it was replaced, we also needed an additional fan because of the extreme heat, but unfortunately one was not provided. Overall, the villa was clean, but the lack of air conditioning, uncomfortable beds, difficult access and communication problems significantly affected our stay.
