The house layout / room setup is very convenient and the decor / interior design is done with taste. The location is far from the big city / town and couple of hundred meters from the road, so it is peaceful and quiet, which is what we wanted. At the same time it was only 10mins drive from the best IMHO family-friendly beaches on Skopelos (Milia, Ftelia, Kastani). Shutters on the windows and comfortable mattress allowed for the good night sleep. In general the house was very well equipped with all the kitchen / bathroom products you always need when traveling (for shower, dishawashing, washing, cooking - oil, spices, ....) There were no mosquitos in the arrea. And the area was great to have a nice evening walk in the nature.
I think the property could benefit from some outside table / chairs to have dinner and enjoy the beautiful view over the green hills - we had to improvise a bit. Dishwasher would be nice to have too.

There are places you enjoy, and then there are places you miss long after you've left. Casa Gaia was that kind of place for us. Peaceful, beautifully cared for and full of authentic charm, it made us slow down and appreciate the simple moments that made Skopelos so special. It never felt like just another holiday rental, it felt like a place we truly belonged to, it felt like home. The host, was incredibly kind and shared thoughtful local recommendations that helped us experience the island in a more authentic way. Leaving was much harder than we expected, and when we return to Skopelos, we already know where we'll stay! Thanks for everything 😁

The smell of herbs and pines and olive trees surround the villa. The view is directly on the sunset. Maria and Anastasia are very nice and kind hostesses. They accommodated our wishes: double beds and grill!
