    A special small hotel in a historic part of the city

    We loved the building, the garden, fantastic views from the room and the breakfast area, and marmosets who came to greet us at breakfast

    Rooms could do with a bit of repainting. Hot water took ages to arrive in the shower

    Comfortable, beautiful Rio stay that felt like home

    Wonderful, comfortable stay. The included breakfast is delicious and the staff is very friendly. The views from the pool are absolutely stunning.

    The only thing to note that it was a little difficult to find Uber drivers willing to travel to Casa Geraniol. This was not a problem since we could always catch a taxi within a minute or two of waiting outside but just something to note. Also, the stairs are steep and narrow which was not a problem for us but something to note for people with mobility issues.
