Toller Aufenthalt … mit kleinen Schönheitsfehlern
Sehr gute Lage in Malcesine , wir hatten den direkten Blick auf den Gardasee … Super schön ! ( der Lärm der Gardesana hat uns nicht gestört ) Schöne Aussenanlage mit ausreichend Liegeflächen … die Fensterläden waren prima zum Verdunkeln der Räume … 😉 … etwas geölt würden sie sicher leiser zu schließen gehen .
Schade , dass die Wände so kahl sind und die Deckenbeleuchtung es auch nicht gerade gemütlicher macht . Eine Stehlampe im Wohnzimmer wäre nett gewesen bzw. eine kleine Lampe für Gäste , die auf dem Schlafsofa nächtigen. Ein Wasserkocher hat uns gefehlt … mit dem Topf ging es natürlich auch , aber effizient ist dies ja nicht.

Klare Empfehlung für Malcesine
Tolle Lage, in wenigen Minuten fussläufig in die Altstadt. Sehr schöne Anlage, mit Pool und Fitnessraum. Wohnung war sauber und komfortabel. Gastgeber waren extrem höflich und zuvorkommend. Die Lage an der Straße hat überhaupt nicht gestört. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen.
Das „user manual“ könnte ein paar Infos mehr zum Check out beinhalten (zb wo der Schlüssel hinsoll), aber vllt haben wir das auch einfach überlesen.

We had high expectations because of the excellent reviews on Booking.com, but several aspects of our stay were disappointing. The pool was advertised as heated, yet the water temperature was only 21°C. We chose this accommodation specifically so our children could enjoy swimming in autumn, so this was a major disappointment. The listing also mentioned a washing machine and dryer without making it clear that there were additional charges: €4 per wash and €3 per drying cycle. Our laundry needed three drying cycles to dry completely. When we asked where the machines were, the hosts simply pointed them out without mentioning the fees. The hosts were not particularly friendly or informative. Check-out was very early, and the instructions in the apartment stated that it had to be left clean or an additional fee could apply. However, they did not explain what cleaning was expected. Was leaving everything tidy and taking out the rubbish enough, or were we also expected to clean the floors? Clearer instructions would have helped. The location is wonderful, the views are beautiful, and the apartment we eventually stayed in was lovely. Initially, we were given an older apartment, but after we raised concerns about the issues we experienced, the hosts moved us to a better one. Overall, our rating mainly reflects the beautiful location and views. Clearer information about the pool temperature, additional charges and check-out requirements would have made the experience much better.
