    I cannot recommend this property.

    Weather in Spain ;)

Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. We paid a €300 security deposit in cash, which according to the booking conditions should have been returned within 7 days if no damage was found. It was not returned, and only after I contacted the property was I informed that the entire €300 was being withheld for alleged damage, which we strongly dispute. The owner claims that we shattered an outdoor glass table. However, we have a photograph from the final evening of our stay clearly showing the table intact. The owner’s damage photos were only sent to us approximately two weeks after our departure. We requested the original files with dates/metadata but did not receive them. We also noticed inconsistencies between the owner’s photos: the condition of the chair cushions and the amount/arrangement of rubbish around the outdoor kitchen differ between images. Without verifiable dates, this raises questions about when these photos were actually taken. We were also accused of damaging the refrigerator, although earlier publicly available photos of this property appear to show pre-existing marks/dents on it. Most concerning, we found another review on Booking.com from a previous guest of the same property describing a similar dispute over alleged damage, which that guest also disputed. Future guests should photograph/video everything on arrival and before departure and keep proof of any cash deposit. Our €300 deposit remains unpaid and the dispute is unresolved. I cannot recommend this property.

The villa itself was amazing, with fantastic amenities throughout. Although the location was quite remote, which may not

Deep pool and outdoor grilling station. Villa is surrounded by fruit trees like avocados and oranges which is very nice.

We had a very disappointing experience with the villa owner. We were accused of breaking one of the sunbeds by the pool, but it was already damaged. The sunbed had been set up to look intact, with cushions placed on top to hide the broken part. From a distance, it looked fine, but when we tried to move it, it immediately fell apart. The owner accused us of breaking it, showing photos of how it supposedly looked before and claiming it was brand new. They then tried to ask us for money to cover the damage. We’re 100% certain that we didn’t break the sunbed. Besides, there was a €1,000 insurance policy covering damage to property and furniture, so any issues like this should have been covered by insurance. The owner was aware of this, so there was no reason to blame us or ask for additional money. This was the first time we had an experience like this and also the first time we had to deal directly with an owner. Ruralydays manages the property, and it should handle any issues, not the owner. This situation really dampened our vacation, leaving us feeling upset and unfairly accused. We’re still not sure if the owner was aware of the damage and just wanted extra money or if they genuinely believed we were responsible.

Fantastic house, very responsive hosts and beautiful exterior and pool.

The house and gardens were spotlessly clean and in a beautiful location.

There is no air con which made sleeping tricky as it was so hot.
