Super nice host, he helped us carry up the bags and we could choose between the second and third floor room, the first being a bit larger but the second having a roof terrace - and the terrace was super for chilled evenings. The house is very central in Barletta with both the beach and the old town easily within walking distance and out of the main season (i.e. not between 08 Jun - 30 Sep) parking nearby (at the Lungomare) is free. Breakfast was at a small caffè around the corner.
The whole place had a lot of scent containers around which led to a thick sweet air and that was combined with the bedsheets and towels smelling like they dried in a smoker's room.
