Nice place for a short trip to explore Milano and the area
A nice place offering all the basics you need for a short stay near Milano. The host was friendly and responsive, and the place was clean.
Not the most optimal location if you’re looking to explore Bergamo or Milano. Given its location far from restaurants and the main city areas, some basic cooking provisions like salt/ pepper, oil and coffee would have been nice, as well as detergent/ shampoo in the bathroom. Not a deal-breaker, but it would elevate the guests comfort.

Title: Misleading and Uncomfortable Stay – Not Worth the Risk Rating: 1/10 I booked this apartment for my wife and 10-year-old daughter, who traveled to Bergamo for a figure skating training camp. My daughter needed a comfortable, quiet place to rest after long days on the ice. Unfortunately, this apartment was the complete opposite. First, the apartment has no air conditioning. The listing does not clearly warn you about this, and the fan they provide is so weak it's practically useless. During the heatwave, the apartment became unbearable. My wife and daughter could not sleep, and my daughter—exhausted from training—had no chance to properly recover. When I contacted the host (Franco) about the heat, his response was basically "there's nothing I can do." No offer to help, no solution. Just close the blinds. That was it. Later, after I escalated to Booking.com, he suddenly offered another apartment with AC—after my family had already suffered for days. He is now trying to make it look like he was being helpful. He was not. To make things worse, the host also demanded an extra €18.55 for a "municipality tax" that was never mentioned in the listing. Another hidden fee. Another disappointment. The apartment is also not easy to access. The elevator is not on the ground floor—you have to carry heavy luggage up stairs first. That was not disclosed either. I honestly doubt the positive reviews are genuine. After staying here, I cannot imagine anyone giving this place a high rating unless they are completely ignoring the reality. I escalated this issue to Booking.com, and they offered me €172 in travel credits as compensation. I refused. Credits do not undo the suffering my family went through. What I want is a full refund—my family paid for a comfortable stay and got the opposite. If Booking.com does not give me the right compensation for this experience, I will never use their platform again.
