The house had potential, but the number of broken appliances and the unbearable heat upstairs made the stay quite uncomf
Location
Many of the house appliances were broken or damaged: the washing machine had a broken door latch, the coffee machine didn’t work (it was promptly replaced), and the stove knobs had no temperature markings — it was impossible to adjust the heat or even tell if the gas was on or off. Upstairs it was unbearably hot. There’s AC in one of the bedrooms (the other had a fan, but it was broken), and the remote control doesn’t allow adjusting the airflow intensity.

Property was spacious & clean. One A/C in the living room & 1 in the main bedroom , pity other bedrooms had none. Location was ok, 8 min drive to Vilamoura. Check in & out very easy.
It’s a 50-60 min walk to the Marina in Vilamoura. Pool facilities were dreadful, pool was filthy it’s never cleaned, gardens & surrounding grounds were appalling. Some gardens had no green area just clay, entrance to Moura Golf was “worrying” as it makes you think what’s inside! On our 2nd last night and last night (ALL NIGHT) a rave/party of about 20 people started with disgraceful scenes of drinking, noise +++ shouting, music blaring, cars coming & going dropping off drunken & drugged people all night. Our 3 kids & us felt intimidated awake all night both nights, worried of what could happen to us as a result of their drunkenness & drug taking. IT WAS ABSOLUTELY HORRIFIC. This was reported which made no difference.

Good
We liked the clean and spacious accommodation with room to park a car. There was a nice pool and nice space to sit outdoors at the back of the house. There was a good welcome pack with cleaning products, edibles etc. Lovely clean towels and bed linen provided.
The WiFi didn't work despite asking for assistance on the matter. No one came to the house to help. There were ants upstairs outside both bathrooms that we had to try and get rid of.
