Don't book there
The room was quiet. The price was fair.
There's no reception desk, and when we arrived, no one answered. I called and texted the number on the reservation, but no one responded. I contacted them through Booking.com, and again, no one replied. Finally, a neighbor had to call a young woman who let us in. This girl clearly wasn't the one in charge of the reservations. There was no parking as advertised, so we had to leave our car on the street. The worst part is that Guaduas is under water rationing, and they never warned us. They cut off the water around 8 p.m., and the girl didn't even tell us. If I hadn't asked for a container of water, they wouldn't have even offered us one. The next day, at 9 a.m., we still had no water. The woman didn't know anything; she just said that the person in charge of the accommodation was traveling and that's why she wasn't answering. We had to ask her for water again in a container so we could shower. The town's water problem is something they should consider when offering their accommodation. If they know there's going to be a water outage, as the person in charge wrote to me the next day, but they don't have tanks or reserves, and the person in charge isn't answering calls because they're traveling, and the young woman they left at the property knows nothing or can not make a decision, then they should NOT be accepting guests at their accommodation. It's their responsibility to be present and provide solutions.
