    We loved the view and the friendly host.

    It's a little more difficult to reach when you must rely on public transportation. No A/C. We stayed during a terrible heatwave. Otherwise A/C is probably not necessary.

    A stunning view of Vesuvius and the Bay of Naples. Unforgettable. Upon arrival, fruit and fresh bread awaited us—an incredibly kind gesture.

    Since we visited in July—when the heat and humidity are incredible—I really missed having air conditioning; it is sorely needed. There is no washing machine in the apartment either, which would come in handy for a longer trip.
