  Great place if you're not too fussy.

  The location is great, far reaching, uninterrupted views from Faro to Vilamoura and beyond. The Villa sits on a very private plot, the open plan interior has a generous kitchen dining area, external dining area, nice pool and an authentic feel. You can walk to Loopers Bar in 10 minutes and Shopping in Boliqueime is about 10 minutes by Car, Aldi, Lidl etc. The Wi Fi was good. Amazing weather, 30 degrees plus many days with full sunshine.

  If you look for them, there are a myriad of small ( and not so small ) repairs needed, some urgently, there is an ever-present kickback from the fossa in the bathrooms, no aircon, the bathrooms look like they were designed by a wealthy Bond villain and I never saw a washing machine sited next to a BBQ before. But, hey, it's Portugal, way up in the hills and it kind of adds to the character of the place. If you are looking for perfection scroll on - but if you can look past its foibles - then perhaps like us you'll have a great time!

  Uma casa com muito potencial, mas deixa muito a desejar.

  A casa no geral era boa, tinha espaço exterior, divisões bastante grandes. Bem servida de mobiliário e de utensílios de cozinha. Boa vista. Localização boa para ter privacidade.

  A piscina estava verde quando chegámos. Após contacto, o jardineiro tratou da piscina durante a noite, mas passado 3 dias ficou na mesma. Apenas foi aplicado produto mas não limparam o lixo que tinha. Vários elementos da casa sem condições mínimas. Uma wc com a tampa da sanita partida e uma janela também partida, que nem se conseguia abrir. O piassaba estragado. A WC do quarto principal tinha a torneira solta. Nenhuma guarda para as bases de duche. Qualquer banho que se tomasse e as wc ficavam sempre inundadas. Espreguiçadeira partida. Não havia NADA para limpar a casa, nem um pano, uma vassoura, uma esfregona, um esfregão da loiça, qualquer tipo de sabão ou detergente. A máquina da loiça não funcionava bem. Ficava a loiça suja e manchada. Acabámos por ter de lavar sempre tudo à mão. O AC, embora já soubéssemos que não havia, seria uma melhoria imprescindível. A casa ficava bastante quente. Tínhamos de abrir as janelas durante a noite, mas com melgas não é uma boa solução, principalmente por apenas duas janelas terem redes mosquiteiras. Uma delas toda rasgada. Roupa interior de antigos hóspedes no roupeiro de um dos quartos.

  We kept having people come round to do work. We wasn’t told at first that people were coming and we didn’t know who they were. Then we didn’t have water for half a day because they had problems with the water tank. I was told I would be compensated but they haven’t and they have now been ignoring my emails. This should have been done before we had our stay booked. We actually booked this villa because we was getting married, so it ruined our stay really.
