Great location, but a disappointing and unnecessarily stressful experience
The location is excellent, and the apartment was reasonably clean. These were definitely the strongest aspects of our stay.
Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing, particularly at the beginning of our stay. The check-in process was unnecessarily complicated, and the interaction with the woman handing over the keys felt rather strange and unprofessional. It immediately gave us a poor first impression. Although parking was supposedly included, we found a warning notice from security on our car stating that we were occupying someone else’s parking space. Resolving this required several conversations with the property intermediary, including very late at night. The security staff did not speak English, making the situation even more frustrating. There was no capsule coffee machine, and access to the gym and swimming pool required advance reservations through the intermediary, which was inconvenient. The kitchen lighting was also extremely cold, harsh and unpleasant, giving the room an almost clinical atmosphere. Most concerningly, I received multiple suspicious WhatsApp messages from different phone numbers claiming that my payment needed to be verified or my reservation might be rejected. The property owner informed me that this had been reported to Booking.com, but the situation raised serious concerns about the security of my reservation details and personal information. Overall, despite the excellent location and acceptable cleanliness, the confusing check-in, parking problems and suspicious payment messages made the experience unnecessarily stressful. The property needs much better organisation, clearer communication and a more professional approach to guests.
