Be careful of the angry neighbour and prepare for a late check in
Location of the property was great for exploring Lisbon. It was also convenient that we were allowed to drop off our suitcase earlier on and could wander around the local area.
The room was not ready for check in when we arrived at 3pm (the given check in time) We were not informed of this. The cleaner had not long started and we needed to get into the property. Accordingly, we had to wait in the landing with a 3 month old baby and toddler as it’s quite afew flights of stairs. A disgruntled neighbour came out of a close by apartment and complained about there being people coming and going from the apartment for holiday lets and it’s every day for them. I got in touch with the host following this and he said that the cleaner had lots of properties to clean that day to which I explained was not a good enough excuse. (Perhaps the host should employ more cleaners in order to provide the service or change their check in time to later) He also said to just ignore the neighbour. I asked whether there would be any compensation for the inconvenience. He said he could offer an hour later check out time but I explained that this would not be of any use as we have an early flight to catch. The host did not appear to be very understanding about the situation. The poor cleaner rushed through and eventually left 45 minutes past check in time and then returned later on with further linen/towels. The travel cot was partially broken on the base. There were a few other minor things but i do think the property would benefit from better quality fans.

Lo único malo que puedo decir es que no sabía (quizá no lo leí) que era un piso cuarto sin ascensor.

Moc pěkný velký byt, dobrá volba pro naši šestičlennou skupinu, dokonce měl pokojík "navíc". Výborné umístění v centru, v okolí spousta barů, restaurací, kaváren. Škoda že v bytě není klimatizace, ta by se hodila. Byt však naštěstí není podkrovní, vše ok.
