  Casa Rita is a spacious and very comfortable house in a beautiful location high above Lake Garda. The terrace is a real highlight — it is a wonderful place to sit in the evening and enjoy the sunsets over the lake. There is no air conditioning, but we did not miss it at all: even in warm weather the house stayed pleasantly cool. Parking is easy: there is a public parking area with around 15 spaces only about 50 metres from the house, and we always found a free space. The access road was also completely fine — I drove there in a Volvo V60 with normal European ground clearance without any problems. There is no EV/PHEV charger at the house, but there are plenty of charging stations in the surrounding area, so this was not an issue for us. The host is very kind, polite and welcoming. The house is also a great base for exploring Lake Garda. Garda, Bardolino and many other places around the lake are easy to reach by car. The nearest supermarkets are not particularly close, but it is very easy to stop for groceries on the way back from a day trip. We used Famila in Costermano sul Garda and Dpiù Supermercato in Garda, where I also found some excellent local Lugana wine. We would be very happy to stay here again — and next time, hopefully for even longer.

  There is no Wi-Fi, but mobile internet worked well for me. I often use my phone as a hotspot, and upstairs, near the window, I found a very good signal. It is useful to bring an adapter for Italian sockets, although adapters are easy to buy in local shops and at larger petrol stations.

  Als je van niemand zien houdt....

  Wat een prachtig huis op een onwijs mooie plek en een hartelijk ontvangst van Rita en haar man. Heerlijk stil! Uitzicht op het Gardameer. Mooie weg naar het water naar beneden met of 16 haarspeldbochten of een smal weggetje waar het passeren van elkaar met een stoplicht is geregeld. Mooi wandelgebied ook. In het centrum lekkere restaurantjes. Het bed verdient wel nieuw matras en helaas geen internet.

  Zum wiederholten Male besuchten wir das Ferienhaus Casa Rita, wieder waren wir begeistert von der der Lage, der Aussicht, der Ausstattung, der Ruhe... Sehr netter Vermieter der bei Fragen immer zu erreichen war. Wir empfehlen uneingeschränkt und freuen uns jetzt schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch.
