Heerlijk!
Veel ruimte, goede ligging. Op wandelafstand van alle bezienswaardigheden. Leuke restaurantjes in de buurt.
De slaapkamer zonder airco was erg warm.

Buona soluzione per visitare la bellissima città di Catania
La struttura della casa e il suo stile mi sono piaciuti, la posizione abbastanza comoda per andare in centro

Excellent facilities and location.
This was a late booking as our original booking.com accommodation let us down a week before. We use booking.com a lot and only book after extensively checking accommodation location, reviews and facilities. So we were a little nervous about our, last minute, choice. Especially as there weren't many reviews. However, Casa Santa Marta definitely surpassed our expectations. Can't recommend enough for location and facilities. The facilities information on booking.com doesn't list everything available to guests at Casa Santa Marta. Honestly though, there really is everything you need and more. The accommodation is very well equipped, including excellent range of kitchen utensils/cooking facilities, coffee maker, washing machine (upper floor), hairdryers etc. So many apartment details state equipment such as washing machine, coffee maker, hairdryer etc. is available. However, on several occasions we've found equipment either doesn't exist or doesn't work when we arrive. No such problems at Casa Santa Marta 😀. Beds were good quality and bathrooms spacious, pleasant with good hot water supply for showers. The WiFi was also excellent and worked well even on terrace. I know, as I had to ring my bank whilst we were staying there. It is never quick to get through to UK banks but WiFi was fine. The roof terrace is great too, weather wasn't great when we stayed but it was still pleasant to sit out in mornings with coffee and evenings with wine. Hosts met us when we arrived, although it was late evening. It's great to be met by hosts and shown around. So many places just have lock boxes. I'd also note that spiral staircase is well lit and wide. I mention this as I'm rather nervous of steep stairs (having had a bad accident, on stairs, a few years ago). These are fine. The staircase nearly put us off booking Casa Santa Marta. So I hope this reassures anyone else with similar concerns.
Everything was very good. Nothing negative. Only improvement would be if host listed all facilities on booking.com 🙂
