    Most enjoyable!

    The location is excellent, 10 minute walk to old town and adjacent to beach. Apartment is large and comfortable with spacious terrace. Bus stop directly outside if you wish to explore other nearby beaches or have ventured to one of the many bars or restaurants with a couple of kilometres radius and want to catch a ride home. Car/bike rental/luggage keep nearby if late checkout is not available. Supermarkets and tobacconists also nearby. There is no air conditioning but there are ample fans that are quite effective.

    Just a few advisories to make your stay more manageable. 1.) the door key is a bit tricky so make sure to get demonstration on use from property management staff before they leave. Once you’ve mastered that there’ll be no problem. 2.) demand on the power supply can trip the switch, which is located outside of the apartment on a side road. I would recommended asking the property management staff to show you where this switch is before they leave also so you can find it easily if the power goes out. 3.) there are 5 different bins for waste management and you are requested to follow the schedule provide for collection. Bins, when full, have to be put out on (and collected from) the side road previously mentioned. In the heat the compost bin will likely be the one most needing collection. The schedule provided indicates the day the bins are COLLECTED so make sure to put them out the NIGHT BEFORE for early morning collection. None of the above had a major negative impact on our stay but pre-warning will allow for adequate preparation and avoidable disruption.
