    Do not stay here. Unsafe. Do not use booking.com as they will not help you even if the place you are staying is unsafe.

    It was a nice apartment and was clean but gave all a bad mark due to how bad our stay was.

    We booked this place in a hurry due to a late cancellation from another property. When we arrived we noticed the latch on the patio door to the balcony from the main bedroom was broken. We brought this up with the owner who confirmed it did not lock but did not do anything to help us. They tried to say this is standard as there are shutters but all other patio doors locked fine. We stayed for a few hours out of our 4 day stay. We informed booking.com who said they would resolve this but they never came back to us. We then received messages from the owner complaining that we had reported it. Due to the broken latch and the rudeness of the owner, we left as we felt unsafe. It was clear that it wasn’t a very nice area and someone later confirmed to us that they wouldn’t drive through there. We contacted booking.com multiple times over the next few days to try and get a refund but got absolutely nowhere as it was their company policy to only issue a refund once the owner had approved it. We even tried to get a refund for only 3 nights and they refused this too.
