  A beautiful mountain valley, a clean and comfortable apartment, and a stay that could become truly s

  We spent two weeks at Casa Vacanze La Maddalena in Palù del Fersina, in the beautiful Valle dei Mòcheni. The apartment was clean, well maintained and comfortable, and the valley itself is absolutely beautiful. The mountains, the tranquillity and the atmosphere make this a wonderful place to disconnect from everyday life. The people we met in the valley were also genuinely kind and friendly. The location is ideal if you love mountains, nature and a peaceful environment. We particularly enjoyed the feeling of being in a real mountain valley rather than in a busy tourist destination.

  There are a few things that could be improved. The biggest issue for us was Internet access. The Booking.com listing stated that Internet was available in the apartments, which was particularly important for me because I needed to work during our stay. When we arrived, there was no Internet connection. I contacted the owner and was told that the provider had not been topped up yet and that she would fix it. For several days, my only option was to stand on the balcony with my smartphone to get a usable mobile signal: not exactly the ideal office! After I contacted the owner again on 4 August and explained that I would have to contact Booking.com if the Internet was not restored, the connection was finally activated that same day. It is now available, although it is quite slow, especially for streaming and loading web pages with images. The bathroom door also needs some attention. When closed, there is a large gap which provides very little privacy. This would be a relatively simple thing to fix and would make the apartment more comfortable. For longer stays, such as our two-week stay, I would strongly recommend offering a cleaning of the apartment after the first week, together with a change of bed linen and towels. This would make a big difference for guests staying more than seven days. It would also be helpful to provide an adequate quantity of basic supplies for longer stays, particularly hand soap, toilet paper and rubbish bags. These are small details, but guests staying for one or two weeks should not have to worry about running out of essential items. Finally, we unfortunately never met the owner during our entire stay. The keys were collected from a locker and returned to the same locker when we left, with the tourist tax left on the table. The system is practical, but I believe that in a beautiful mountain location like the Valle dei Mòcheni, personal contact would greatly improve the guest experience.   Obiekt w standardzie schroniska górskiego. Nam to nie przeszkadzało, a dawało miły klimat. Kuchnia wyposażona w komplet naczyń.

  Odnalezienie drogi do obiektu nie było łatwe. Brak czajnika. Nauka obsługi kuchenki trochę nam zajęła. W obiekcie jest ciemno.

  Una mansarda per stare tranquilli

  Appartamento al terzo piano con 2 letti matrimoniali e 2 divani letto singoli. Adoro l'impostazione da casa di montagna, in mansarda, travi a vista, pavimento di legno. Le stanze matrimoniali sono comode, i letti comfortevoli. Dotazione della cucina sufficiente per le esigenze. Il bagno ha quello che serve e la doccia ha le antine scorrevoli. Proprietaria disponibile a rispondere alle esigenze e a fornire dritte per godere della valle dei Mòcheni con passeggiate e esperienze. La valle è molto bella e permette di godere di tranquillità e di staccare dai ritmi del lavoro. C'è un parco giochi a pochi metri da casa con uno scivolo fantastico per i bambini.

  Bisogna abituarsi a chinare la testa in diversi punti perchè è una mansarda bassa. La cucina non ha molto spazio per appoggiarsi. Il Wi-fi è piuttosto debole e lento. Ci sono un po' di scale da fare, ma per il carico scarico dei bagagli si può lasciare la macchina per breve tempo proprio sotto casa.

  La tranquillità di Palu' ,la bellezza della zona e la manutenzione, la frescura dell' appartamento, il silenzio e le case antiche. I letti comodi.

  Alcune pentole da sostituire, pochi appendinii e mensole in bagno per il resto tutto perfetto.
