The location is convenient, everything is close. Lively area
Didn't like · Check-in is at 16:00 and check-out is at 10:00. Basically, you pay that amount for one night. It's very inconvenient; you lose almost a full day. Would not recommend. Pay attention to this when booking. You cannot cancel the reservation.

Lovely apartment and very good location. Beautiful view from the french balcony. Very helpful and friendly host. We managed to leave the keys inside. It was solved in 5 minutes!

We had such an amazing stay here! The location was absolutely perfect - we truly couldn't have asked for a better spot. The space itself is lovely, and we had fresh tea, water, and delicious pastries waiting for us on arrival, which was such a thoughtful touch! Our favourite part was definitely the balcony overlooking the square. We spent the morning there drinking our coffee and people-watching. The Airbnb truly has everything you need and more. The host was fantastic - extremely responsive, super friendly, and provided great local recommendations. If we visit again, we will definitely book this place! Highly recommend! Thank you!

The location of the apartment is fabulous, looking out on one of the most iconic piazzas in all of Matera. It is incredibly clean and comfortable. The host Alberto was very friendly and welcoming. He provided us with suggestions for restaurants, helped us figure out transportation, and checked in regularly to ensure our stay was ideal. We would definitely recommend Casa Vacanze San Giovanni to others visiting Matera!!
