    The place is beautiful and the staff was friendly, but that’s where the positives end.

    The value for money leaves a lot to be desired. Everything seems designed to charge you more for less: small portions, high prices, and an experience that doesn’t justify the cost. The food was disappointing. The granola with fruit and yogurt had fruit sliced so thin it seemed to have taken an economics class to make every last piece stretch. The hummus came with so much bread I wondered whether I’d ordered hummus or a bread tasting. Massage prices are difficult to justify, and the yoga class was far too basic for what they charge. What should feel like a special experience ends up feeling like a collection of extra charges. I don’t mind paying a lot when something is worth it. What bothers me is feeling like the goal is to maximize every peso they can get out of you.
