Absolutely loved it!! Chilled, perfectly private and an escape in the hills.
Esteban met us and explained everything. He was an amazing host and went above and beyond- sourcing a pump for the lilos and even went to the pharmacy for us as I had broken ribs and could not travel that day. He was a superstar, we could not have thanked him enough. The villa is isolated from the town and is it is very quiet, which is what we loved. Watching the goats being herded in was just pure joy! The photos of the view don't do it justice. Iznate is very pretty and I would love to go back in better health! It is a 25 minute steep walk but such an authenic vibe, we visited on a sunday and the locals were relaxing in the main square. A 20 minute drive can either take you to LIDL back towarda Malaga, or to Torre del Mar on the coast, which had a lovely promenade and pedestrian area with a more commercial feel. We went in the morning and it was a lovely breakfast spot. The villa itself is lovely, great outdoor kitchen - can be the windiest area so ensure you have a fruit crate etc (LIDL)!! to help block the wind to start the BBQ. We visited in June and needed a light jacket at night as the villa is so high up and exposed to the elements. Inside we had everything we needed, felt very homely, and there is aircon throughout. Nothing to complain about about really! It is very isolated and tricky to navigate the narrow roads, but we expected that. Lighting the BBQ in the wind is a challenge, but we overcame that-as explained. We could not use the gas rings due to the wind, but that did not matter to us as we prepped inside.

Am schönsten war die Aussicht und natürlich der Pool.
Das Haus ist schon leicht abgewohnt.

Uffffff, sin palabras...
TODO! El sitio con unas vistas impresionantes, la casa super limpia, espaciosa, y muy confortable. El exterior, no existen palabras para describirlo en todo su sentido! , Lo disfrutamos todos los días, con la piscina y la barbacoa, y por la noche, con la chimenea (ya que hacia un poco de frio al estar tan alto). En resumen un 10! Y para finalizar con matrícula de honor, Esteban, la persona encargada de mantener la casa en perfecto estado para nuestro disfrute. Mil gracias, Esteban, volveremos en breve!
