Isolated. Lonely. Pretty.
It’s in a very pretty village. The room is very attractive.
The property was totally empty. I arrived at about 4 pm. There was no staff to welcome me. There was a phone number which I couldn’t connect to as I didn’t know the code for Spain. A local lady (no English and I don’t speak enough Spanish ) phoned the owner who arrived quickly. The closest restaurant is not close (3km she said) by so she kindly did stale bread (Sunday) meat and cheese and fruit. €15 Same food as breakfast. For 3€ she brought me a coffee machine which I didn’t know how to use. NO TOWELS! She left straight away so I couldn’t ask for towels. Breakfast was left for me at 7:30 as requested. She didn’t greet me in the morning. I was the only person staying. She was trying to be helpful but she isn’t putting enough time into her guests. It would be lovely for a Spanish couple with a car or a group but dreadful for a solo English traveller.
