Disappointing, not as pictured, and ultimately we did not feel safe staying there with our family.
The staff were super friendly and the location was positive for us. It was convenient and close to the places we wanted to visit like balboa park and downtown.
Unfortunately, almost everything else was disappointing. The property looks much better in the listing photos than it does in person. It felt run down, poorly maintained, and the overall condition did not match what we believed we were booking. Parking was horrible and finding a spot was extremely difficult. We also found a flea and bed bug fogger inside the property, which was very concerning because we were traveling with our 2 year old son. The biggest issue was feeling unsafe. Around midnight, people were outside on our veranda having a serious confrontation. My wife became so frightened that I woke up to her screaming. After that, we no longer felt comfortable having our family stay there and decided to leave early and find another place. The host herself was nice and responsive, but unfortunately that could not make up for the condition of the property, the misleading impression from the listing, and our safety concerns.

Horrible and heartbreaking experience!

My son drove around well over an hour for parking and could not find a spot anywhere, therefore we did not even stay there! A neighbor told us parking is an ongoing issue with this place. The pictures are deceptive/only get the middle of house and the area was very sketchy/unsafe. The place is extremely outdated/old. The whole scenario was sad/unfortunate as we were looking to make memories with our granddaughter. We wound up going to a hotel for the night and found an awesome place for remainder of trip. They also charged me for chairs/umbrella that did not even get to use, nor have I received a refund as I respectfully requested. The host seemed oblivious/had no resolution/remedy for the parking situation.
