    Stay in historical surroundings with amazing views

    This is the perfect place to relax away from the touristy crowds. The pool is beautiful and has a stunning view, it’s quiet and the staff are very friendly. The food in the restaurant was some of the best I had on this holiday, and they had multiple vegetarian options and even had soy milk for my breakfast coffee. The rooms are beautifully set in little old traditional houses of the borgo, and mine had a great view from the window. They also sent me instructions on how to reach the bnb by car beforehand, which was super helpful and by following those it was easy to find. I managed to get there with a very big car without scratches, but it was touch and go so would definitely recommend a small car! Be aware that there is nothing to do in Agira other than relax by the pool and take nice walks around the borgo and castle, and enjoy the views of Etna. This was perfect for me and I loved staying here!

    It’s unfortunate that the restaurant is not open for lunch. I would probably recommend doing some shopping in advance and bringing supplies for lunch and snacks so you don’t have to walk down into the main city.
