    Cute Apartment in Navigli

    The apartment was set in a courtyard away from the canal and main road. We wanted lively nightlife but it was very student orientated. The apartment was clean and compact. It was priced accordingly for the location away from the city centre. There was air con and a fan which was necessary in Sept. We liked the comfortable bed but were unaware we would have to pay extra for bedding for the sofa bed. It clearly states two beds in the description so we weren't appreciative of being asked for extra cost. Hence we slept in one bed. We were two friends so not ideal. This should be clear in the description. The price was very good for Milan, though not central. Navigli has lots of lively bars if you want something less fancy than central milan. We were allowed to keep apartment on last day for 20 euros which was very good and appreciated.

    We had issues with entry, keys, keypad codes and general communication with the owner. We arrived later than expected due to queues at immigration. We were given instructions but if it wasnt for other residents coming and going we would have been left on the street. I called and messaged the lady and realise it was the middle of the night but we weren't actually left a physical key (which we should have had once inside the apartment) so we definitely would not have been able to get back into the courtyard through the huge wooden gate and 2nd metal gate. She brought the key the next morning but we had to wait til 11am for her to drop off before we could go out for the day. Not ideal.
