    Mooi verblijf, aanrader

    Aideen is een hele fijne gastvrouw. De cottage is erg gezellig met een prachtig uitzicht. Alles is aanwezig wat je nodig hebt voor een verblijf. Wij zouden hier zeker terugkomen!

    I don't even know where to start. The Cottage is absolutely stunning and feels VERY cosy - I wish I could live here! Very clean and well equipped - you will find everything necessary even for a long stay, including a mini-blender. The location is impressive. The view is breathtaking, with amazing dawns and all those wonderful hills and green around. It's tucked away from basically everything, so it's very quiet. The only sound you hear is the melody of crickets. But, if you need anything, there's a decently stocked mini-supermarket in Santa Barbara, 3-5 minutes away. And, lastly, Aideen has been an absolute angel - the perfect host, how lovely to meet her! This was my first time in Santa Maria - the last island of the Açores I still needed and wanted to visit to complete them all. And staying at the Casinha do Barreiro really felt like "Save the best for last". Thank you so much again, Aideen. ❤️
