Over priced for a dirty and poorly fitted out apartment
Location and outlook from the property was the only good thing about the property.
Carpet was stained and dirty. Bed was a joke. Flat sheet didn't even cover the mattress (wasn't even big enough to tuck in on the sides or ends) and the doona was placed between two other flat sheets (no doona cover). Pillows were dirty and lowest quality imaginable. Worst "made up" bed I've ever seen in a hotel or apartment room of any type. My husband and I ended up sleeping on top of everything as the sheets just got completely screwed up underneath us simply trying to get into bed as they couldn't be tucked in. To the owners of the apartment - do better. Invest in a fitted sheet and doona cover set and have your carpets cleaned. Extremely poor and quite frankly - grotty. I've never left a bad review or complaint before but this was ridiculous. We had a four day stay and had one bath towel left for us in the room! I had to get pool towels for extra bath towels from reception. The list of compliance for us and fines/fees that we could potentially be charged for leaving even 5 mins past 10am on our check out date or not cleaning up however, was next level. And when I booked in advance the total amount was around $676 dollars but when the payment was taken from my credit card a few days before our arrival a $125 cleaning fee was added to the total making the total cost $801 which we were unaware of during the booking process. Very deceptive. If you are taking $125 on top of the cost of the rental price for cleaning from every client that stays I would have expected that apartment to be spotless!!! Not GOOD ENOUGH!!
