  Lovely views, well located comfortable apartment

  Well equipped, self contained one bedroom apartment in lovely old villa, which had been a castle in the past. Stunning view from bedroom across valley to San Gimignano, especially in early morning light. Very welcoming and helpful staff notably Serena. Well located for day trips to Sienna, Volterra, San Gimignano, Certaldo and even Firenze. The swimming pool was much appreciated after long hot days exploring the area

  Not much to dislike but be aware that if you need a swimming towel, hiring towels comes with a cost (cash only) - it would be nice if these could be provided as part of the total booking. There are laundry facilities on site but once again cash only.

  Locatie top! Restaurant zeer goed. Schoon,groot zwembad,vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel

  A beautiful “home base” for exploration and tourism of the region, it is the perfect place to branch out and visit locat

  Absolutely indescribably Beautiful. Words won’t do it justice. Truly one of the greatest views of Tuscany in my several trips to the region, and you don’t even need to leave the property to get them. The apartment is beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you need to lounge, cook meals, and enjoy a week/weekend away.

  Had to dig deep to find anything and this isn’t even a complaint. There are a lot of bees around the property(very docile) which may be a plus for some but I could see it being alarming to someone who is allergic. That’s just wildlife though and it helps maintain the purity of the mountain at which this property peaks.

  If you are looking for the authentic Tuscan experience, this is it!

  We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Castello di Fulignano. If you are looking for the authentic Tuscan experience, this is it! The location is unbeatable. It serves as a perfect base for exploring the region. We were just 10 minutes away from San Gimignano, 15 minutes from the famous Antinori winery, 20 minutes from Siena, and only 40 minutes from Florence. It made our sightseeing trips incredibly easy and stress-free. The surrounding nature is simply breathtaking. You could literally spend hours just sitting and admiring the stunning landscape right from the apartment. It’s peaceful, beautiful, and feels like a postcard. A special thanks to our host, who went above and beyond! They were incredibly helpful and provided us with information you don’t usually get from a standard guide. From finding a toy store for gifts and organizing horse riding, to suggesting charming smaller villages and specific wines to taste - their local tips made our trip truly unique. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Tuscany. We can't wait to come back!
